While most people love their pillow from the very first night, sometimes the pillow takes some getting used to while your body corrects itself. If you are not comfortable with it right away, you may need to experiment with determining the right amount of filler material. You may even want to use it for just a few hours each night or use it one night and skip a night then use it for two nights etc. Take whatever time you need to see if it is right for you. All we ask is that you give it a fair chance. Don't just try it one night and think it is not right for you.

In total of all responses we have gotten there is a 96.4% satisfaction rate and fewer than 1% of users have ever returned their pillow. There is no other pillow we surveyed with this high of a satisfaction rate.

The total satisfaction of all users of our Original Buckwheat Pillows® If you try a pillow and are not satisfied for any reason you may return it for a 100% refund of the purchase price. Shipping costs are non-refundable; we will deduct:

• $10 per pillow for Japanese, Travel, Bolster, and all the Bucky products, $5 for subsequent pillows.
• $15 per first pillow for Twin and Queen size buckwheat pillow, $10 for subsequent pillows.
• $20 per first pillow for King size buckwheat pillow, $10 for subsequent pillows.

The full satisfaction guarantee period is 30 days from ship date. If you would like to try it for up to three months to be sure it is what you need that is OK too.

* If the pillow is returned in opened condition or after 30 days and before 90 days from ship date. There will be a 30% return handling charge. Pillows are not returnable after 90 days.

• Customers are responsible for all "Returned Shipping Costs" if :
aaaa) A package is returned to us as a result of Refused Delivery.
aaab) A package is returned to us as a result of Non Deliverable Address.
aaac) A package is returned to us as a result of Non Response.


All pillows include a 90 day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If you have any pillow which has a defect, please return it for repair or replacement at no charge. First class postage or UPS shipping charges will be refunded, if you choose insurance or certified mail or registered mail, those fees are not refundable. After 90 days and up to 10 years, if you have any problem with your pillow we will repair or replace for a small nominal fee plus shipping.

Original Buckwheat Pillows® is not liable for incidental or consequential damages due to use or misuse of the pillow. The companies liability shall be limited to repair or replacement of the pillow only, at the option of the company. If the pillow is damaged or destroyed by accident or misuse (including but not limited to trying to wash the pillow with the hull filling in it), the company may at its option replace the pillow or a portion thereof at a discounted price.

Return Instructions

Returning is fairly simple…in essence; we are going to need you to return all the components of your purchase for you to receive the proper credit. Please remember the you are responsible for the contents of your return and that we can't give you proper credit if we don't receive your items- we recommend that you purchase insurance and delivery confirmation to eliminate any problems with loss or theft. You may use USPS, UPS, UPS or DHL.

If you wish to return it is imperative that you:

1. Include a copy of the original receipt, and the original Care Manual.
2. Include all the original packaging and labels, boxes, displays, tags as well as any samples.
3. Remember to include all the pieces of a set – example: Travel Pillow + Pillow Case + Display Bag.
4. If either the receipt or original care manual is missing we will deduct $2.00 each from your credit.
5. Please refer to your Guarantee/Warranty/Return Instruction sheet that is included with every order for the Return Address.

Refund requests are processed once monthly, about the end of the month. Pillows received on or after the 20th of the month will be processed the following month. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover purchases by phone or online form shall be refunded direct to your credit card. Purchases by check will be refunded by check.
